Apple Computers Inc. has its eyes set on bringing a corporate retail store to downtown San Luis Obispo with aspirations to open in time for the holidays.

What was once Men’s Express located at 877 Higuera St., on the corner of Morro Street, could soon become the future home of an Apple retail store.

Cowboys saddle up in So-Cal

They lined up more than two hours before the Dallas Cowboys took the practice field, many wearing replica jerseys of their favorite past and present players.

Mustang hits cinema hardwood

Last installment, I gave you baseball movies. This week, we hit the hardwood floor. Basketball movies are hard to fake, much more so than baseball; you can’t cut away while someone is dribbling or dunking; it looks awkward. When it is faked (think “Teenwolf”), you end up with the Bob Saget of movies – very cheesy and uncomfortable to watch.
