There are now 27 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in San Luis Obispo County, public health officials confirmed Sunday afternoon.
Yesterday, the San Luis Obispo Public Health Department reported 21 cases.
Two of the cases are high school aged children, according to Public Health Officer Penny Borenstein. She did not know which high school they attend.
The vase majority of cases are a result of travel, according to County Public Health.
There are now eight cases in the North County, 12 in the South County, six on the coast and one in the San Luis Obispo central area.
