The Cal Poly men’s soccer team’s winning streak ended with a 2-1 loss against Pacific (1-5-0) on Sunday.
After scoring the first goal of the game, the team eventually fell to a nail-biting series of penalty kicks. Despite the dissatisfying loss, the girls regrouped and appreciated their hard work exerted on the field.
The Cal Poly men’s soccer team saw its 2013 season come to an end Tuesday night, as the Mustangs fell 4-1 to Cal State Northridge in the opening round of the Big West Conference tournament.

The men’s soccer team will take on rival UC Santa Barbara on Friday at 7 p.m. in Alex G. Spanos Stadium.
The Cal Poly Athletics Department gave away the last of its 11,000 tickets at approximately 10:35 a.m. on Thursday. Ticket representatives turned away students as they showed up at their office, telling them no more tickets would be printed before the 7 p.m. game in Alex G. Spanos Stadium.
