Division I Board of Directors announces playoff plan for fall sports to take place in the spring
The NCAA Division I Board of Directors approved a plan to conduct the championships for fall sports in the spring on Tuesday, Sept. 22 . The plan was completed once the Football Championship Subdivision committee came to an agreement on the playoff bracket for the revised football season.
Big West Conference announces fall sports postponed through end of calendar year
The decision does not affect fall sports unaffiliated with the Big West conference. Cal Poly Football, which is affiliated with the Big Sky conference, is still awaiting a decision regarding the season’s potential postponement.
