Many Week of Welcome (WOW) leaders have voiced their anger about Plu$ Dollars earned during WOW inexplicably vanishing from their Polycards on Sept. 20, and many can’t explain why or how this happened.

Reggae-punk band Pepper visits Mid-State Fair on Friday
The Hawaiian-bred, rock-reggae trio Pepper will be playing at the California Midstate Fair in Paso Robles this Friday. The band will play on the Grandstand as a special guest to another rock-reggae outfit, headliner band 311. The punk rock band The Offspring is also joining them on stage.

Freshmen will get shorter WOW next year
Due to recent concerns that this past Week of Welcome program was associated with an increase in alcohol consumption, citations and arrests, a committee is considering changes to Cal Poly’s orientation programs.
