2. New K-12 law highlights transgender students’ plight
A new law in California has turned the spotlight onto the treatment of transgender people at Cal Poly. The Pride Center said the university’s lack of gender-neutral bathrooms represents an area in need of improvement for the school.
3. Women’s and men’s hoops set for critical conference matchups
After both teams split two games this past weekend, the men’s and women’s basketball teams face Cal State Fullerton and UC Riverside this weekend. David Nwaba, above, has provided a spark to the men’s team with electrifying dunks and free-flowing play.
