Clubs suffer with current Rec Center

As president of the Cal Poly Fencing Club and a member of the student body, I support the proposed Rec Center expansion and urge everyone to vote YES.

If you have tried working out at the Rec Center lately, I’m sure you have seen firsthand how desperately we are in need of the additional space. Like you, our clubs have suffered due to overcrowding. Practice times have been slashed and pushed back later and later, severely hurting our programs.

The proposed expansion is a long-term solution that clearly addresses the problem and will benefit the entire student body. So vote YES!
