San Luis Obispo County has 877 confirmed cases of coronavirus as of Thursday, July 9 — up 32 cases from yesterday, according to County Public Health.
Of the total cases, 247 patients are at home in isolation and 612 patients have recovered. Thirteen are currently hospitalized, five of which are in intensive care.
There have been four deaths due to COVID-19 in the county.
Total Confirmed COVID-19 Cases in SLO County
As of July 7, County Public Health had conducted 6,050 tests in which 162 tested positive. Private laboratories had detected 646 cases, and they had conducted 19,484 tests since April 13. However, the number of tests conducted before then is unknown, according to County Public Health.
There are 78 cases of coronavirus in those zero to 17-years-old, 251 in ages 18 to 29-years-old, 244 in 30 to 49-years-old, 181 in 50 to 64-years-old, 106 in 65 to 84-years-old and 17 in 85-years-old and older.
