Some courses require students to buy books upward of $100. One student found an alternative way to access and share textbooks online. The catch — the method may not be legal.

Textbook piracy is something that’s going to happen regardless of how strict regulations are. The textbook distributors need to learn to price their books fairly or at least offer services that can’t be copied (e.g. study tools).
