University Police first received a call of a vehicle-versus-pedestrian accident Saturday, Jan. 18, after an 18-year-old man and 19-year-old woman were hit by a car near the Performing Arts Center.
Then-17-year-old Brencola hit and killed Love while driving drunk last year. She was tried as an adult.
The arraignment was delayed until Tuesday, Nov. 7 for the 17-year-old Los Osos resident charged with multiple felonies.
There has been an increase in pedestrian accidents but a decrease in bicycle accidents this year.
Kennedy Love was killed in the hit-and-run on Foothill Blvd. SLOPD has made an arrest in connection with the incident.
A 68-year-old bicyclist sustained moderate injuries in a hit-and-run Wednesday near Tank Farm road.
