San Luis Obispo County has 1,393 confirmed cases of coronavirus as of Wednesday, June 22 — up 24 cases from yesterday, according to County Public Health.

Of the total cases, 457 patients are at home in isolation and 917 patients have recovered. Twelve are currently hospitalized, four of which are in intensive care.

There have been seven deaths to coronavirus in the county.

Total Confirmed COVID-19 Cases in SLO County

There are 136 cases of coronavirus in those zero to 17-years-old, 398 in ages 18 to 29-years-old, 417 in 30 to 49-years-old, 263 in 50 to 64-years-old, 149 in 65 to 84-years-old and 28 in 85-years-old and older. The ages of two patients are unknown.

Most of the cases can be attributed to person-to-person contact or community spread.

The county has determined that 445 cases contracted the virus through person-to-person contact, 379 cases were acquired through community spread and 120 cases were contracted through travel. The county is still investigating the mode of virus transmission for 449 cases.
