Record number of Cal Poly students enter quarantine, county case rate remains constant
Cal Poly saw a record of on-campus residents enter quarantine this week. On Oct. 28 alone, 28 students were told to quarantine, the highest single-day increase on record, resulting in 31 total students quarantined.

San Luis Obispo County reported 49 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 28, according to County Public Health. This is the most new COVID-19 cases reported in one day since Aug. 29, when 61 new cases were reported.
